Paris Tour 2024
Experience the City of Love like never before with our 5-night luxury package!
Black Americans traveled to France for opportunities denied in America during the 20th century. James Baldwin (writer) said he arrived to Paris with $40 in his pocket, longing for a better life. He didn’t know what the future held in France, but he certainly had foresight as to what would happen if he stayed in New York. Paris is also where the late Josephine Baker danced and ate lunch with her pet cheetah named Chiquita. Paris was also known for great artists like Lois Mailou Jones and Beuford Delaney.
Paris is the capital city of France. The French historic, political and economic capital, with a population of only 2.5 million is located in the northern part of France. It is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It’s home to historical landmarks like Notre Dame, Eiffel tower, Louvre museum and countless others. Paris is a must see and learning how the contributions of African Americans shaped Paris is an integral part of our history that we don’t always hear about. On-site host and private transportation available.
